Books. Books. Books. that’s what i think when i chose English Literature as my major, then i am exactly right. We do read a lot of books. They showering us with big dictionary sized textbook. Personally, studying English literature has taught me i can be anything i want to be and I’m not just destined to be a teacher, as people wrongly assume. For one thing, writing essays has given me confidence to contribute articles to the student newspaper and others.

And that’s another thing that I really love about being an English Literature student, you get to have your own opinion on what a particular piece of a novel, poem, and others thing in society. Constantly building up your own knowledge. I think the hard part of being English Literature student is studying about Linguistic and the others, i am so lazy to learn about thattttt. Because sometimes the lecturer explained very quickly, and i dont even understand slightly.

So at the end of the day everyday life as an English Literature student is a lot of reading, but it’s also a sack full of fun too!
